What is business coaching?

Hardly a day goes by without someone asking me “what is business coaching?”.

Quite simply, business coaching is a form of training, education and support which will help you grow your business.

As a business coach, I show the owners of small businesses how to grow their businesses by using proven systems, strategies and tactics to build and grow your business, work less and earn more.

I provide an impartial, unemotional outside view of your business and situation.

By asking the tough questions, I challenge the status quo to provide you with the insight you need to overcome what’s holding you back and move your business forward.

Support across 3 areas

Generally, I provide business owners like you with support across 3 broad areas – business foundations (finances, systems, planning) managing your business (leadership, flow charts, managing people) and growing your business (accountability, mindset, action plans, performance indicators).

Once we’ve agreed an action plan, I hold you, as the business owner, accountable to the goals and plans that you have set for yourself in order that you will see results and grow your business.  Because the systems, strategies and tactics are all proven, I get results far quicker and larger than you would likely achieve on your own.

Business coaching is a proven way for business owners to identify opportunities, optimise systems and processes and generally be more effective and successful in growing their business.

Coaches, not just for sports!

“Greatness, whether athletic or otherwise, doesn’t come from those content on just being, but from those who seek being the difference.”

– Kirk Mango

Elite athletes like Roger Federer, LeBron James or Tiger Woods all work extensively with sports coaches.

Sports coaches help superstar athletes get superior results by tweaking elements of an athlete’s performance which make the difference between first and second place.

Business coaching works in a similar fashion. But instead of the gym, business coaches use an office, a coffee shop (or maybe a computer).

Just like a sports performance coach pushes an athlete to achieve optimum performance, a business coach provides support, shares strategies and tactics which improve your skills to grow your business.

One of the key elements of sports coaching is monitoring performance and tracking progress, which of course is exactly what we do with the clients I work with.

Competing

As an owner of a small business, there are many elements you have to manage with a smaller budget. For example, the small business owner must be a master of finance, a superstar of sales, a superhero of customer service and a ninja of marketing. Whilst all the time building and managing the team.

If you’re the owner of a small business, then business coaching is a perfect fit for you, because the systems, programmes tactics and strategies that I will share with you are designed to have an immediate impact on your business, whether that’s operations or HR, finance or marketing.

Just like in sports, business coaching can make all the difference between success and failure in your business.

Whether you’re business is struggling or it’s not achieving the potential it’s capable of, enlisting the help of a small business coach will help you get results.
